A career devoted to the mental and physical well-being of women throughout their lives:

I have an interest in reproductive mental health and am a specialist in postpartum mood disorders.

I work with women to develop a personal treatment plan when facing challenges throughout life, from adolescence through the reproductive years and beyond. I have a unique background to help women deal with the changes in life during and beyond menopause.

My practice also serves to address the emotional needs of women and couples with a history of pregnancy loss and infertility. In addition, I have experience counseling women parenting neurodivergent and gender-diverse children.

My unique background and extensive experience:

A graduate of Yale Medical School, I received my subsequent training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard School of Medicine. I am a member of the College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and former director of the Women's Mental Health Program at California Pacific Medical Center.

I have worked with women who have experienced pregnancy complications, serious medical conditions in their newborns and genetic abnormalities through a sub-specialty fellowship in Perinatology (Maternal Fetal Medicine) at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. I have a post-graduate degree in mental health counseling. I work in collaboration with patients to navigate increasingly complex therapeutic options.

Physicians in women's health care often establish life-long relationships with patients helping them to identify emotional stress as they deal with physical and hormonal changes and life events.
